David Brogi
is a multifaceted artist,
painter, sculptor and
theatrical performer,
with the expressive
force of Tuscany
exploding in his work.
David Brogi, multifaceted artist, was born in 1970 in one of the most beautiful lands in Italy,
Tuscany. It is precisely this land that allowed him to grow, among the colours and aromas of
the hilly slopes and marine cities such as Livorno, brazenly open to the sea and the winds
that lash them. David finds his own expressive strength from his Tuscany, guided by the
academic training that he began in 1984, an experience cultivated like the good wine of his
lands. In his eclecticism, David Brogi ranges from painting to sculpture, linking these
disciplines to theatrical performances as well.
David Brogi has dozens of art exhibitions throughout Italy and Europe: Rome, Venice,
Florence, Mantua, Milan, Padua, Turin, Paris, Lyon and many others. He has won numerous awards nationally, including the Rotonda Città di Livorno of 2016 with the sculptural work L'urlo d'Europa, and two awards in the national competition Le Ali Città di Massa, with the pictorial work Blu Dog. The bronze sculpture Il Bacio is proudly part of the Collection of the
Presidency of the Italian Republic. David Brogi has been included in the Cairo Mondadori CAM catalogue for over four years. Come visit the studio with a large and elegant exhibition space in Ponsacco, Pisa, in Corso Matteotti, 9.
I experience the sea and the colours it represents as an incomparable positive thought.
